Are you passionate about logistics and working behind the scenes?
ZSL Whipsnade have a new, full-time, permanent opportunity as a Transport Operative whose goal will be to support the team. You will be part of the team's mission to use sustainable and creative methods in achieving everyday tasks to work smarter and not harder.
You will be instrumental in supporting the team with their departmental goals and objectives and completing everyday tasks in various areas such as driving, maintaining and carrying out routine checks to a variety of vehicles. The role also includes the transportation of materials, animals, animal food, waste and assist with stores operations the post room, animal food stores, warehouses and transport.
Please note: Working hours can include early starts and are based on a 37.5 hours working week, including weekends. Candidates that do apply must be aware that the position will be physically demanding and will require flexibility and the ability to work in a variety of conditions both indoors and outdoors. Due to the nature of the position candidates must also possess a full, clean UK driving license.
